How to put into words

On the plane on the way here we wrote a letter to S. Yesterday she received that letter from the agencies lawyers. She did not read it in front of her but they said she smiled when they handed it to her. So hard to figure out what to say to her. We kept it short, just one page. I saved the rough draft so we could show it to Ty later if he wants (it was before we met him and I plan to write one soon about him and include pictures that we will drop off at the agency before we go home). How do you even begin to thank the woman that made you a parent. There are no words or actions that can ever be said or done to thank her for this precious gift. Has she made decisions and done things that I wouldn't? yes Do I fault her for this? no. How could I ever speak ill of the woman that made me a mom. In my eyes she will always be an incredible, strong, and selfless person. I hope to learn more about her very soon.

For a little variety here is a video of a wide eyed boy this morning. Never posted a video before hope it works. He has a little leftover milk in his mouth haha.

Hanging out on daddy's back... He looks so long in this one. He has looked huge to me all day.

Court

Well it's official....
Birth mothers rights are terminated!!!!!Tribe will not be notified. Now starting paperwork for us to come home. That will take 7-10days. Now we just wait for the call that says we can go home.

I can't really believe this right now!

Only other thing left is birth father rights and we aren't really worried about that too much.

Overwhelmed

I am overwhelmed by all the support of family and friends. I am positive I have never had this many people praying for me and my family and it is humbling. Thanks you so much to everyone!!

FYI court is at 4pm. I was told we would know something by 5pm (7pm your time).

Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day everyone, hope you all had a good celebration!!!!

Two days til court, I try not to think about it. But its getting so close. I cant really image how I will feel that day, hopefully I can find something to distract my thoughts. It's all just so scary. I have been in an especially good mood today, and I don't know why but maybe it will last through Wed.

Today was the first day that Ty pooped out is diaper, the little stinker, it got on mommys pants and everything. Somehow daddy missed it because he was napping. Also when I put the first outfit I ever bought on him today its a little snug lengthwise!!! What happened, surely it had to shrink when I washed it... is he really growing that fast?!?!

I have decided it is time to start distinguishing between days and nights, so as to not cause confusion later. During the day I open all the windows and turn on all the lights and do not try to be quiet, as soon as his eyes open we are talking to him and playing with him. And I talk to him the whole time he is eating. At night, we turn off all the lights, swaddle and try to minimize interactions although it is hard not to give kisses and such. We try to just feed, change diaper, swaddle and put back in crib. I have no idea if this will work, but it makes sense to me. hehe

I had an amusing day watching the 100s of golfers. I guess there were so many because of the holiday. I believe this course is for beginners or so it seems from the skill level I have seen :). I laughed real hard at one man who drove on top of the sand mound and though tress, and up and down the path looking at every window of the hotel for at least 20 minutes looking for his ball haha. He finally found it in a bush. Next Jeff and I both giggled at a man that teed off twice in a row and sliced them both terribly, not supper funny until he started pounding his golf club on the ground. And last one that made me laugh was one guy was about to tee off and a man from the hole over came running across and picked up his ball that had landed on the wrong green. I find all this amusing because I am the worst golfer ever and could do any of the above. But somehow all of this has motivated me to go golfing once back home.

Jeff bought the biggest sandwich I have ever seen at the store yesterday so proud of it... See below.
