Introduction...

Jeff and I were going back and forth, back and forth between two names. We pretty much narrowed it to those two names right after we met him. We were talking about it last night and just couldn't pin one down. We decided it was time for help :) and thought it would be fun to ask our family members to vote. So this morning we sent a mass text with a picture of him saying "I"m a week old today, and I need a name" We gave them the names to choose from and it was fun to hear everyone's opinion. Results are in and his name will be Ty Daniel :)
We are so in love!!! He is just amazing! It feels so natural to have him with us.
Today we are just enjoying him and hanging around the hotel, which by the way has free breakfast everyday and free dinner Mon-Thurs. sweet! Its kinda awesome not having anything we have to do or anywhere we have to be at a certain time, feels just like a vacation. We are booked here through the 18th. We are talking and deciding where we will go after that. We have a few places in mind, and I'm excited to see the state.

Good morning! I'm one week old today :) 

First time in the Moby wrap. We both loved it!! It is the best way to carry him around while he is small. Especially if we have to go to the store or something, no one will touch him in there :).


I went back and looked at the pictures the social worker took of our first meeting. She is so nice and we really liked her but she has my mother's picture taking skills! haha. One pic you can't see little man and in the other our heads are cut off. All the same I will cherish those pictures forever. In a few days, we will probably go to walgreens or something and get pictures from my nice camera.
