First dr appt.

Today we went to Ty's first Dr appt. the agency set us up with a super nice Dr we both really liked. She said he looked good. He weighed exactly his birth weight which is good for a 9 day old. (6lbs 15ounces.) They measured him at 21.5in long which has to be more accurate than the 19in. that he was measured at birth. It made me smile ear to ear when I laid him down on the table and she said is he native American or Hispanic? I was like yes both!!! She said he def had native American facial features. The SW had told us he looks like S. She said we were using the perfect bottles, she loved his name, and she said she was happy he was going to be with us. See she is nice! We decided to trial a new formula because Ty had been spitting up a bunch the last 24hrs, but has been doing great today. She gave us a free can to try out. Since insurance has not kicked in yet she also gave us a discount which was amazing! Since we will be here so long, we set up a second appt with her on June 5th... He will be a month old then. She said she will give us paperwork to help us at the airport when we go back. Also said we could call her or bring him back in if there were any problems.
That was our big adventure today. He did great! We took a ton of pics of his first appt. but we took them on our nice camera. Did not take many on my phone today so not too many to share. There is one riding in the car to the dr. and one where he is sitting in a neck pillow we bought at the airport to use as a boppy.
Any family that wants to see him in action, we have set up a skype account so we can see each other, since we will be here so long, this is a great way to hear and see him. Just text me if you want to skype and I will give you my username. No promises we will be able to do everyone in the next couple of days but def. in the next couple of weeks. If you have an iphone we can do facetime as well.

somehow I accidently deleted first bath post, I will repost those pics later. Makes me real sad cause I can't remember what all it said.. I know it started out saying Ty is amazing, but everyone already knows that. 

We were able to face time and or skype our parents yesterday and that was so fun to let them see him and let him hear them talking to him. I also facetimed my sister and nephews and have to say hearing my nephews giggle at him and say his name was so freaking cute!!
